M10 Harrison

The M10 Harrison Tank began as a joint US-Japanese arms venture in the early 22^nd century using proven technology. The main characteristics of the M-10 are a long wedge shaped hull, and enlarged modified version turret of the Type 10. The main gun and hull is American in design with a modular design focusing on quick repair and easy to maintain in harsh environments. The M-10 tank thanks to its armor composites have reduced the weight of the tank to a weight of 50 tons fully loaded meaning that the tank is easily lifted by earth federation drop ships. The 140mm L40 smooth bore LGG cannon/launcher gives the Main battle a range of 6 kilometers and can hit with tremendous force using SABOT, Anti Personnel, and Explosive buck shot. The missile that is fired from the gun, is the FGM-250 Dragon Slayer. First used against Chinese troops and tanks in WW3 the 140mm Missile continued its use into 22nd century.

While the design is not very revolutionary the design is perfectly functional and has proven itself in urban and more conventional tank on tank battles.With a Fusion core that produces the equivalent of 3500hp the need for a fuel tank and its weight are no more. Leaving more room for ammunition and the auto loading arm system. A water fording kit can be equipped by the crew in 5 minutes. The main gun is placed deep into the tank turret to give the gun a +30° to -12° angle of fire and has an effective range of 10 kilometers that is boasted to 15km thanks to the on board ATGM. The turret exterior is covered high temperature treated carbon composite layer shell with a Helium gel buffer layer of classified thickness beneath. The Helium gel is super cooled and causes a rapid thermodynamic change in many shaped explosive and kinetic penetrators.

I made modifications to have turret further back on the hull and reworked some of the miss matched areas.
